For 4,000 years, every great civilisation recognised that debt compounds faster than income, and that without periodic cancellation, free citizens become serfs. They called it the jubilee. The tradition died when Rome killed it — and for two millennia, the creditor class has extracted wealth from the rest of us without the circuit breaker that every ancient society, including the authors of the Bible, knew was essential.
The mathematics now exists to do automatically, continuously, for every person on Earth, what once required a king's decree every fifty years. One IOU per person. The jubilee is no longer a political demand — it is an engineering solution.
